Skoda has fired the starting pistol on its new Fabia supermini’s launch, and the big news is that this car will blood the platform for the next-generation VW Polo, Audi A1 and Seat Ibiza. The Fabia will also use the latest group three- and four-cylinder engines and boast an all-new interior, which is ripe for personalisation, Mini-style. New documents have emerged showing Charles Morgan was sacked from Morgan Motor Company due to four counts of alleged misconduct. In a board meeting earlier this year – held while then company strategy director Morgan was away on leave due to health problems – Morgan Motor Company executives determined that Charles Morgan had posed as company chairman, despite his demotion back in February 2013.
A NEW survey has revealed that parking signs confuse motorists, to the point that it can lead to drivers being penalised for their unintended transgressions. The poll, conducted by car insurance company Churchill, found that of those fined, clamped or who had their vehicle towed away in the last two years, 22% said they were unable to understand the parking restrictions in that area. Also, 41% of the 2,001 people polled said parking signs in their area were confusing, while 33% avoided parking in their local town or city centre for this very reason
In addition, the puzzling signs led to 9% avoiding parking around their own residential area.
